Whilst SNP First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon's government promised to have dualled the A9 from Perth to Inverness in its entirety by 2025, as of the end of 2025 only 11 of the 80 miles of the road has been dualled. We now have a new target date of 2035 - and I will be holding the government to account on this as I have done to date. Each year, this dangerous road sees fatalities and accidents scarring people for life - it must be dualled as quickly as possible.
